The NFL Combine has changed a lot in the last several years, especially for quarterbacks.
Historically, the combine was a place for quarterbacks to showcase their skills, namely, their arm talent.
However, as of late, many quarterback prospects have elected to not throw at the combine, saving their efforts for their pro day.
Will Levis, who was been scouted as a potential round-one talent, will be throwing at the combine.
When asked for his rationale for partaking in this event, NFL reporter Stacey Dales shared that Levis responded with, “Because I got a cannon, I’m gonna show it off.”

By showing off his arm strength at the combine, Levis could greatly improve his draft stock if teams like what they see.
Ahead of the 2021 draft, Zach Wilson had an impressive pro day, showing scouts just how far he could sling the football.
This vaulted Wilson up draft boards, resulting in him being picked second overall.
While the New York Jets may be regretting this decision, this does bode well for Levis.
Levis was an excellent quarterback for the University of Kentucky.
In fact, during Levis’ time at UK, the team achieved its highest ranking in the AP poll since 1977.
UK is well-known as a basketball powerhouse, but Levis turned their football program into something notable.
In his two seasons as the starter for the University of Kentucky, Levis threw for 5,232 yards and 43 touchdowns, adding in 23 interceptions.
Levis’ throws at the combine will likely be closely monitored, especially given his propensity to throw interceptions while he was in college.
Can Levis’ combine and pro day performances be enough for a team to take a chance on him in the first round of this year’s draft?
