Robert Saleh Is Gushing About 1 Free Agent QB

The New York Jets are ready to move on from Zach Wilson, and they have plenty of good options to choose from right now.

They are reportedly interested in making a run at Aaron Rodgers if he decided to pursue a trade, but it seems like they like another guy better.

Derek Carr visited the team’s facility last week and left HC Robert Saleh quite impressed.

Saleh raved about his makeup and how he ‘keeps the main thing the main thing,’ gushing about how much he enjoyed his conversation with him.

Carr has never been put in a position to succeed, all things considered.

The Las Vegas Raiders have been poorly run for over a decade, and it’s not like he’s had any sort of continuity on a system or anything like that.

Carr has excelled in the clutch with multiple comebacks and game-winning drives, putting up big numbers despite the team’s shortcomings.

HC Josh McDaniels left a lot to be desired in his first year in charge of the Raiders, so maybe, getting away from that franchise was a blessing in disguise for the Fresno State product.

The Jets have an elite set of young players with a bright future ahead of them, and Carr seems like the kind of leader that would be a seamless fit in their locker room.

Garrett Wilson showed glimpses of unlimited potential in his OROY season, and that was with Joe Flacco, Mike White, and Zach Wilson at QB, so we can only imagine the video game-like numbers he’ll post with Carr under center.
