The Kansas City Chiefs are on the verge of achieving dynasty status.
They’ve made it to three Super Bowls in the past four years, winning two of them, and Patrick Mahomes has led them to the AFC Championship Game every year since becoming a starter.
More than that, they’ve overhauled their roster over the past couple of seasons, so they have plenty of starters on rookie and team-friendly deals that will allow them to compete for years to come.
So, if someone can win back-to-back Super Bowls, it seems like it’s the Chiefs.
Notably, former NFL star Brandon Marshall addressed that possibility on the I AM ATHLETE podcast.
More than that, he claimed that consecutive Super Bowl wins could put head coach Andy Reid in the GOAT conversation, while Mahomes could also enter the GOAT QB debate right away:
“If it happens, Andy Reid becomes the greatest head coach the game has ever seen. It puts Patrick Mahomes in play to be the greatest QB to ever do it,” Marshall said.

While this might seem far-fetched, it wouldn’t be that crazy to think about it.
Of course, there has been a plethora of football masterminds that one could rank ahead of Reid, such as Don Shula or even Bill Belichick.
But when it comes to this duo, winning three Super Bowls in six years would most definitely rank them way above several Hall of Famers, not to mention the fact that both would still have plenty of time to keep adding hardware to the trophy cabinet.
Tying or passing Tom Brady’s mark of seven rings seems unthinkable, but Mahomes is the only guy who seems to stand a chance to pull it off.
