Death, taxes, and off-season drama involving Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are certain.
That’s been the trend for the past three years, with the multi-time MVP eventually coming back to Lambeau Field on an improved contract.
But there’s only so much the Packers could do to appease their superstar now, and it’s not even clear if they want to keep him around at this point.
The team seems long-overdue for a rebuild, and Rodgers can’t keep this game of cat and mouse going on forever.
For the first time, it seems like no. 12 isn’t bluffing to demand more money, and he might actually be thinking of leaving.
Moreover, GM Brian Gutekunst recently told the media that he hasn’t even heard from the quarterback since the end of last season, adding that all options are on the table for them right now.
Packers GM Brian Gutekunst just sat down with local media in Indy for 30 mins.
• Aaron Rodgers has not told Packers his plans
• Gutekunst hasn’t spoken with him at length since end of season
“Until we have those conversations, I think all options are on the table right now.”

Should Rodgers pursue a trade, teams like the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, Las Vegas Raiders, and Indianapolis Colts would most definitely be interested in making an offer.
However, not all of them have enough assets to try and work things out with the Packers.
As for Green Bay, they would most likely hand the keys to the offense to Jordan Love, who claims to be ready despite his poor play early in his career.
All things considered, all signs point to the end of an era in Lambeau Field.
And while it might be a tough pill to swallow for the fans, it also might be just what both parties need at this point.
